    Hermes Pop-Up shop in East London

    Tallulah & Hope suede scarf-beltsT&H visited the Hermes Pop-Up shop in East London Arnold Circus, the scarves were absolutely beautiful and it was great to see so many incredible prints displayed altogether, all the scarves are screen-printed by hand in the Hermes factory in Lyon. Our Suede-Scarf belts are the perfect accessory to wear with your Hermes scarf! We designed our scarf belts as another way to wear our vintage 70's Ascher cotton scarves but they work brilliantly with any scarf.

    It’s not all about shopping… We invite you to EAT (book a table for lunch now on 020 8969 0098), DRINK (this is a pub, after all) and BE MERRY (DJs such as Russ Cuban, Mark Rae and Barry Ashworth Dub Pistols) dropping by as well as Magician David Sexton – and 6Music’s Shaun Keaveny is even hosting the charity karaoke room.)     Fleamarket Floozie will be hawking her hand-picked vintage homewares, bric à brac, toys, gifts, ornaments and of course Yane Christensen’s quirky and kitsch finds.

    Flower and T is loaning pretty vintage china (above, right) on the day to serve cups of tea in aid of Contact the Elderly. This beautiful service is available for hire and is perfect for weddings. Tamsin Flower will also be selling vintage homewares and jewellery.

    As well as serving cuppas and treating you to a little cake if you ask nicely, Contact the Elderly be selling their delightful illustrated greeting cards.

    Violet Vintage’s thrilling antique jewellery and accessories for men and women that can be personalised and delivered the next day. From reworked Victorian charm jewellery and lockets to stunning cocktail rings and accessories from the 1920s for women, plus a range of unique cufflinks, dress studs and unusual accessories for men, the site offers real vintage gems. Prices range from £25 for a silver horseshoe charm pendant to £500 for special one-off antiques. And Lucy Skinner’s limited-edition gift packaging makes it a must buy!

    Queen’s Park Books our beloved local bookshop with be selling books signed by local authors such as Tim Lott, Kate Rew, Alex Bellos and Anne-Celine Jaeger. We’ll tell all in a dedicated blog post so watch this space…

    Homespun & Vintage will be offering an eclectic mix of home accessories including pictures, textiles, cushions, jewellery, ceramics, glassware, gifts and more – everything handmade or vintage – and all very special thanks to Samantha Frankel’s impeccable taste. Prices £10–£150.

    Intervention Gallery Designer-Makers will be wowing you as soon as you walk up the stairs, find on the landing a cornucopia of their hand-crafted gifts and illustcards, artists’ multiples from Violet Hustle, Caroline Thaw (illustration, right) and Duplikate.

    Rag & Bow, the Roaming Vintage Store, will be downstairs in the Reading Room peddling the best street style and catwalk-inspired vintage on tour, curated by Hazel.

    The Lexi Cinema will be launching its brand-new Lexi Membership Card, priced £25; the perfect purchase for any West Londoners, it offers discounted cinema and special events for a year – the perfect gift! All profits from the Lexi go to the Sustainability Institute in South Africa.
    Say hello to Adam McDougall and meet Rosie, the manager, who’ll be selling her cute handmade Christmas cards.

    Fleamarket forager Helen Teeling will be setting up shop with some of her Boutique Bootfair finds.

    And even TV presenter Anna Richardson will be there peddling a few of her stylish secondhand threads, including high street and designer. Prices vary from 50p to £100.

    Pick up an illustrated map to our wonderful neighbourhood pointing out all the places of interest, £1, from beloved Kensal Greener Tacina Smith.

    And finally, little old Park Life will be on the door collecting your £1 for Contact the Elderly and selling black shopping bags for a fiver so you can take your purchases home in a stylish and eco black bag!
